Michael Richey returns to acting full-time bringing three decades of experience as an acting teacher with him. An accomplished performer with stage, film and television credits, he has shared his talents in the US and the UK with students who are now successful professionals working in every corner of the business. He is an award winning teacher, professionally produced playwright, stage director, and actor.
Michael was born in the Cajun Country of Southern Louisiana, but grew up in Texas and Mississippi. He worked his way through three degrees but allows no one to call him “Dr. Richey.” He’s a husband, father, grandfather, avid weight trainer, kayaker, and occasional back-to-nature-wild-man. In his youth he attended music camps studying piano and conducting, and he worked with his Father and Brother raising vegetables and hunting squirrels (a delicacy he hopes never to taste again).
